Fish like water so its a good thing for them. They get full eating all the newly accessible critters that were once on dry land (worms, crickets, bugs). Bad thing is that a fish kill can happen if the water recedes too quickly in the summer. All that water in the woods with the decaying vegetation can deplete the oxygen
