Dust Mop Fly

Member Muskygary found a article in Fly Tyer magazine on Dust mop Flies...and I thought I would try them out this weekend.I used a microfiber wash mitt and added a small spinner.....

It was a great article in Fly Tyer magazine - my wife caught me eyeballing her mit and told me don't even think about it!!!!!LOL

I do have something else to show you though. I had forgot about this little jig that all you need is the head with hook and one of them spiky ball things! Next time your over here I will show you. I have a picture some place, but can not find it right now.

Off to Walmarts for a mit. Thanks for sharing. Colored Sharpies will put some dots on these real good.

Also according to the article, you can spray these with scotch guard (before tying in) to make them float. On flies these then become floaters and on jigs the body will lift up (more motion)

I've seen the spike ball ties - they can be fun to thread on the hook!!LOL
