Hi there. Just out of curiosity, are there any people on here that fly fish for crappie, or anything for that matter? I'm just wondering if someone would be willing to work with me around Jordan Lake area. I'm looking to get my feet wet. I have signed up for the classes that they have at Orvis in Raleigh, but I will be practicing and fishing around Jordan for the most part. Hoping someone would be willing to give me some pointers or help.
I would just like to post a big "Thank you, and Welcome!" to a new member here. Speckeye, you were a great help. I look forward to learning this new to me sport. I'll be picking up a rod outfit this week, and weather pending, will be out on Jordan or the nearby area, practicing my very very sad casting abilities. Feel free to laugh if you come across me all tangled up in my line... :)
Speckeye is a very good fisherman and flings feathers effortlessly. He's joined me at Jordan once.
