Smoking Boston Butts for Memorial Day
I put 4 Boston Butts on the old smoker this morning at 7:00 AM and just took them up at 4:30PM temp. 174° when I took them up. That pecan wood is the ticket good smell and flavor. I used a basic rub brown sugar salt pepper paprika onion powder and garlic powder last night and let them set in ref. till this morning. They have a pretty good bark on them but that is what I like it gives more flavor. Looks like 3 but 1 is under the others. Here is some pictures:
