Some fun on the river!

Went down to the river that runs through my town (Spring River). The water was a little high and falling. I had my shorts and river shoes on, decided I would wade out a little bit to fish some flooded grass and bushes, man did it pay off!
36 in the first picture caught on Friday and 34 in the second picture caught on Saturday. All the fish were still spawning, had a blast.

I grew up in Miami. Use to go down to a place on the Neosho River and do similar in the early spring in an area just below some shallows. Man it was cold when we did it but we caught a bunch doing that.
