Dang a crappie if you're living on the coast! Too many other opportunities for great fighting and eating fish. Flounder, speckled trout, redfish, dauphin, snapper, grouper, cobia, tuna, mackeral......the list goes on...I'm jealous! Good luck with the move.
Feelay is correct, countless opportunities for great fishing on the coast. However, I do think you can get on some crappies if you push north up some of the rivers that feed into the gulf.
Been a while since I had some flounder. Was time when my brother-n-law and I would gig for them a good bit back in Tx. Currently living in Natchez,Ms and caan't wait to get back to the coast. LOL
I have heard of people catching them on the Jourdan River which shouldn't be too far from you.
WOULD BE FIGHTING AMBERJACK DAILY ! AND EATING SNAPPER AND FLOUNDER .DID READ ABOUT PASCAGOULA RIVER WOMAN IN A MISSISSIPPI OUTDOORS THAT DID CATCH A LOT .
