MTL/wednesday
Husband took a vacation day since the next few are rain. We got our limit but it was a struggle. Mostly males with a few females. Nothing big. NOTHING caught on the banks. Well no crappie. Caught bluegill full of eggs on the bank. Showed fish in 16 ft of water. Remembered to take Aqua view camera long. Used it and it showed crappie on the bottoms swimming around. Had to fish deep to get bites. Even the first spot that showed lots of crappie could only get one fish. Bite VERY lite. Had to stare at bobber to see it move and try to decide if it was fish or the waves from the wind. The females still had eggs.

Was there yesterday also. Three of us kept 29 fish and all but one were females and still full of eggs. Put in at Stoutsville and caught most of our fish with in one half mile of the ramp in ten to fifteen fow near the bottom. Nothing on the banks. I used Blk/Chat Slab Busters and my buddies used minnows. Afternoon water temps were near 70 degrees.
Was in my buddies' boat and it's really hard fishing when you are used to running the trolling motor and looking at the fish finder.
Perchplucker If you don't mind me asking, what arm of the lake were you fishing?
