BCDD 5/9/15

I went back this afternoon and kept 21. I am still having to throw back 3 to 5 for each keeper. I am still catching them off brush piles in 9 fow with Road Runners , shiners, and chartreuse jigs. Today I would first throw a RR at the pile and catch a couple. Then I would switch to a shiner and pick up a few more. Last I would tight line a jig. Today I fished 3 brush piles that were in the wind. I spoke to a couple of guys fishing and no one was catching anything. They were all fishing the bank while I was fishing the middle of the canals. Most fish were caught fishing 2 feet deep. I was slowly swimming the baits. I noticed today bait balls on the fish finder. I picked a few up casting road runners when I saw them and was able to catch my largest fish that way. Next trip I am going to spider rig.

Looks like you've cornered the market on them. It's a great feeling when you can catch them on structure you've put down yourself and other say they aren't biting today.

Thanks for the comments. Yes its nice to go and catch a couple here and a couple there. I am really enjoying catching them on Road Runners.
