Middle bayou sacs n bream

I took my son and nephew up middle bayou off of north pass this morning hoping to get on a few sacs . We didn't have to look too hard , it was fish on front the start . We knew with all the grass there was probably a lot of grass shrimp so after switching up a few different shrimp colored jigs , the fish decided on an orange head with a green body and chatreuse tail with specks in the tail .

We caught probably over 100 fish but had to sift through a lot of small ones . We ended up keeping 37 . About half sacs and half bream with one decent blue cat .Attachment 201306

It's near manchac , la south of Hammond

Yeah it was so good we went back this morning and the tide was moving out good . First stop in the pass we caught about 10-12 , then the next stop 5-6 and started noticing the tide slowing up . By 10:30 it was at a stand still and the fish turned off like a switch , so we got out of there before it got too hot with 25 .Attachment 201471
