Well last week I flew my Dad down from upstate NY. I haven't lived near my folks for over 30 yrs (USAF career) so I have lost a LOT of quality time with them. Dad is now 77 and has battled 2 types of cancer. His health now allowed him to come fishing with me. We spent the last 7 days spider rigging and he had a ball. Fished the big D and Brewer. He left with a bunch of fillets and I am left with some VERY fond memories.......
Thats great. Only thing better than a good day on the lake would be a good day on the lake with family! Glad you got to spend time with him.
Glad you got to spend some time on the water with your dad! Nothing beats getting out and catching fish with family!

Heart warming story!!! Sharing the week with your dad must have been special for both of you. Wish I could go with my dad one more time!!! Thx for sharing, and bringing back some of my fondest memories spend with my dad and my family.
