Arrived at the W bridge around 5:30 AM. 30 minutes and not a bite. Moved to the the bridge where there's a marina next to it, fished for 2 more hours and only managed 2 dinks and 2 green carps. My friends had a lot of luck fishing at night with minnows. I was throwing roadrunners with crappie thunders bodies.
At least you got out!
I threw a roadrunner around for a while this morning and did not have a bite, cold must have push them back out.
well that is to bad, maybe next trip the fish will cooperate,,, I cut sprouts and tilled garden,,, you win
Went out with my brother last night. We started around 8, and called it around 9:30 when the wind picked up.
He was fishing with minnows and I was throwing the RR. He outfished me 9-0. :) I guess minnows and night time is best now.
We only kept 10" and bigger.
