A group of us will be heading down to Murray on Thursday for our yearly fishing trip trying to catch the old crappie fish. We hope to find some cooperating fish and we know we will certainly have a large time. We will eat till we are about to bust and tell extremely tall tales on into the night. Wow!!! Can hardly wait. :highfive:biggrin:crazy:
If you happen to eat in Lexington, be sure to try Hudson's BBQ on Hwy 378. Be sure to get the surf and turf special. It has 2 ribs, 2 pcs fried chicken, 2 pcs fried catfish, BBQ pork and BBQ brisket plus three sides for around $14. My wife and I split it, but I am sure you guys can handle the whole plate.
He has a BBQ buffet available also, but the surf and turf is our favorite. Robin Hudson was our neighbor and friend. He passed away suddenly a few months ago, but his family still runs the restaurant.
