Went out on the lake mid day yesterday hoping to catch some "bait" for catfishing. Didnt catch the first perch but did manage 35 crappie in a couple of hours. Only bad thing is all were small but about a half dozen. Oh well, was pouring rain @ 5AM so didnt get to fish today so all wasnt lost. I just went back to bed. Later on I heard it quit rainng by daylight and didnt rain any more. Oh well. Instead of fishing I visited some stores for more fishing stuff. :)
One can not have too much fishing gear, if the fish or weather won't cooperate, the outdoor supply stores always will!:fingerdance

Sorry you didn't catch any perch and had to settle for catching crappie. I know the hardware stores are glad to see you walk in.
