You might try and pm Whalen,,as he fished it couple of times and didn't have much luck earlier. Lake has a lot of small bass as DNR raised the size limit to 15". Personally,,I wished DNR would have left it alone, not killing out all the lilly pads or raising the motor size limit to unlimited motors with 10 hp limit. Lake as been hit hard in the past yr or so. , lots of weed beds now vs. lilly pads. Leave it to our DNR to change it to their way of thinking what is better. At least the lilly pads protected and gave us bigger fish. Just my 2 cents. Let us know how you do.
Wish I had gone there today instead of Patoka. Dogwood has been tuff for me this year. Wish I could give you some fresh info but have none for now. Normally kalines blue and silver curly tails are the grub of choice there on a 1/24 head but that can change in a heartbeat. Everyone pitches them. Water was not too bad in color when I drove by a few days ago. Charlie Brewer sliders in smoke and black are good on gills there too.
Thanks for the info. It's about a 2 hour drive for me. May wait a week unless we get more rain.
