I heard on the news tonight it was so high they were afraid it was going to run over the dam. Highest ever at 31 foot over summer pool
Actually, they're worried about it going over the spillway (which is lower than the dam). The water level is around 759 & flood stage is 765. The town of Farmers, KY is in the direct path of any flood waters that would spill over the spillway. More rain could cause spillway flow at Cave Run Lake - WTVQQuote:
