Please Help - Seasoned with bass fishing - NEWBIE to Crappie!

So long story short, I have been down the bass fishing road and made a left! Decided I like crappie fishing better, cause the wife will go with me. I had some minor success last year (at eagle creek) on live bait, but have very little confidence when it comes to consistently finding and catching them! I guess what I really need is to go fishing with someone who knows the ropes and learn! Is anyone willing to help out a newb? I will pay my way and don't expect any handouts. Just looking for some help... Thanks!

First of all, you didn't make a left turn....you're makin a right turn! Secondly, I assume you've changed location, because Virginia is a pretty good commute to Eagle Creek.

backs of the bays in the shallows. crappie have their tuxedos on here. spawns not far away! caught a couple in less than 2FOW while pulling gills on jigs yesterday.

havent been out there in quite a few weeks been scouting other lakes out planning on a little spring trip here soon but i think i will be goin there this weekend i will let you know how i do
