Made these up and they worked great. Any other colors to try? I only do single colors preferably. TY

Black, dark red, brown, anything that looks like worm, insect, etc. Go to website for trout magnets and look at their colors.
BLACK , BLACK/ORANGE, BLACK/CHARTRUCE .AND YUM'S OLD NEON OIL COLOR .
I would take that bottom one and add a little black to it and make a transparent smoke... Would be a good one
YEP .... definitely Chartreuse !! Ain't too many baits I throw, that has a chartreuse tail, that don't get hammered by Bluegill. And I would lean towards the "limetreuse" (more greenish) version of Chartreuse (which leans more towards a yellowish cast).
Brown & black would cover your bugs/invertebrates.
I would also suggest, and I know this may sound crazy, but .... bright PINK !! I know, I know, there's not a land or aquatic creature out there in the real world that's pink ... but, for some reason, fish really seem to like that color :dono :Rofl
I would also suggest using contrasting colors of your metalflake vs the body color of your paddletails ... gives them more definition, and allows the metalflake reflection to be seen more easily. :twocents
... cp :kewl
I bet a black with some red flake in it would look good!
That one would be kind of tough Yelim LOL
You're right. I might find some white and paint spos and strip with migic marker.
