Lake James Perch 4/11

The Yellow perch action has died down on Hickory, and not much Crappie action, so I decided to try James for Smallmouth/Walleye/Perch.
Eventually found a large school of whites under shad in 12 fow near the back of a cove under a bait-ball and caught about 30 in under an hour. Largest was 1lb2oz with about 10 near a lb and 20 keepers. They had been scattered up until now, probably feasting on walleye and sucker eggs.Attachment 199210
