Kayak Trip Report

Chasing Crappie again, kept a limit and tossed back more then I could count. Males were on beds in 3 to 4 feet of water . Females were in open water 8 to 10 feet deep. Females were caught spider rigging with 1/16oz white marabou jigs about 6 feet deep. Males were single pole with a 1/16oz jig head and a Pink and Pearl Bobby Garland. Found a few gills mixed in shallow.

This hole is loaded with 9” to 10” Crappie so I tossed back all the larger fish only keeping the small fish to thin out a few. Z-Man fished with me and also left with a cooler full. Beautiful day on the water.
