Question for the Alabama guys
Hi gentlemen. A few friends and I travel down to mud creek every year in early May to fish for bream. I've never fished for crappie down there before. I'm wondering if anyone crappie fishes that Area? I'd assume the they would be in post spawn mode. What technique do you guys use to catch fish that time of year? Pull cranks? Fish deeper brush piles? Bridge pilings? Night fishing? Are they mostly blacks or
whites? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

I know exactly where your talkin bout. We've caught some really nice flatheads right around the mouth of town creek on the river. Always plenty of bass guys to contend with. How will you be fishing for crappie round the end of this month first of May? Would night fishing be worth trying that time of year?
