Thanks to all who replied to my previous post. I wish I could have attended the cookout , but I had an out of town wedding. Can anyone tell me how deep or shallow the crappie are now?

Fished Jordan 2 days last week and so far this week 3 days. Limited out all 5 days. Am confident if wind allows tomorrow will be another limit. Have caught fish anywhere from 18' fow (last week) to 3-4' (this week). My best fish have been in deeper water still, 7-12', full of still yellow (not blood red) eggs. I am sure other people have caught good fish on the bank. Probably not a lot of help, but it is pretty much "on" right now.
Thanks. I appreciate the information. Best of luck tomorrow.
A lot of the fish caught last week in the tournament was in 3' water. If you want to have some fun, work the banks for the smaller males. You should catch all you want.
We fished wed and you can walk on them. We even noticed some had been cut by props it appeared. Threw many back 11 1/2 and under .Had three over 13 many 12s. All on 1/32 oz jigs . if you got past 4 ft. deep no bites. I hope to get back before this bite is over.
Those cuts you saw were from the Cormorants. Their bills slice the crappie just like with a knife.
I saw the same thing, Dennis. Seems like one in ten have been attacked.
By the way, there are eagles on the nest near the north end of the timber south of the Farrington ramp. My grandson is here from Chicago and he was excited to see them. But he liked running down the lake at 40 m.p.h. more. And he loved catching those slabs.
Thanks
