With a canoe I would go up to Wilburn area to get out of the heavy boat traffic with the tournament going on (crappieusa). It would be safer and you could even go up river some too. Just my :twocents

Well i'll be landing my DHC-2 float plane on the lake and the canoe is all i can hull on the float arm. my buddy said it gets bad on the lake but i told him not like lake superior.
