Has anyone ever experienced crappie Gill feeding. here's my dilemma I'm catching crappie my bobber goes under I start reeling the fish in and it's like my line is cut... hardly any resistance on the line... the jig and 2 inches line are gone[emoji36] When fishing a bobber I put a squeeze shot about 6 inches above the jig and the line is cut between the squeeze shot and jig every time this happens . I'm not having this issue with live bait what's up with that
I have tried braided line and have caught some in the gill plate but I don't seem to get as many bites on the braid as the mono[emoji845]

Never seen this but I rarely fish jig under cork either.

I'm fishing Big Game 10 pound line... that stuff ain't no joke[emoji779]

What size jig head you fishing?

Sounds like Jack fish to me. They have sharp teeth and will cut your line in a second
