Tim Ford 4-2 to 4-6
Stayed at Tims Ford marina this paste weekend. Went with Lynn's sister Connie and her boy friend Mario and Lynn's brother Jerry. First day we found fish very shallow and worked them over pretty good. Water temp was up around 60 or so and the weather was good with light winds. For those of you who have fished this lake you know the wind plays a major role on where you go. Friday fish were still shallow and found lots of good crappie to be had and some smallies to boot. Also caught yellow bass and red eye. Then the cold front hit. Nothing shallow anymore. Everything moved out to deep brush. Now I said the wind plays a major role there and it sure did for us. White caps on the main lake made it very difficult if not impossible for us to move around to much so we were stuck fishing back bays of the creek arms and nothing was there. Came out a few times and caught a few but the wind would just blow you off the downed trees. Tried to wind drift a bit but no luck doing that. Water temp went down to 58 about everywhere we did go. Saturday and Sunday the wind blew hard so it made for tough going but we still managed to get a few. Monday came and the fish were back close to shore but only had a couple of hours to fish but caught a few good ones. Here's some pics of what we did. Good fishing everyone.
