Today my oldest son Wes and his two sons Cade and Tyler fished with me on Oconee. We had a great day and they all caught a 13+inch crappie. Tyler took the trophy today with a 13.75 inch fish. Thanks to Countrytime for some good info.

Still waiting for my first grandchild.
The first crappie my son caught was in a cove in Richland Creek. A 2.5# fish. He thought all of them were supposed to be that big. He is 33 yo now and hasn't caught one that size since.

It's hard to beat 2.5 lbs. I was proud of the boys. They hung in there even though I failed to get them a proper lunch. I was in trouble with grandma when I got home.Quote:
