We're any of you guys among the 40 or so boats i saw in swamp creek on Saturday 4/4/15.. I have never seen so many boat in one creek Most were spider rigging didn't see anyone catch any fish while we were there I figured most were just trying to get out of the stiff north wind... All we caught was one 9 inch throw back
I was there. Started out in the Britton ford area and then moved to swamp creek before noon. Both places were stacked in people and I don't know of any that did any good including us. Very disappointing day. Hard to believe the people that said they were catching them the days before are telling the truth. Oh well, that's fishing

My wife and two kids were out there Saturday morning. We were long lining hot grubs. It wasn't our first choice of location but the temperature and wind made us pick swamp creek. We caught about 10 keepers in there (most coming right out in front of the pine trees) .I did see a guy wading off that point in swamp casting a jig under a cork and he caught two nice crappie while we were trolling by.
I was the there caught 7 kept 3 several c.c people but did not know til that evening caught 9 kept 7 today of the 7 6 black males and one female 6 fow 5 ft deep some on just minnows some red grub with chart and pink white chart tube all tipped with minnow
We evidently could have had a C.C meeting in that cove on Saturday. I was in there too with my grandson and we had 7 keepers and several short fish spider rigging with minnows. We were in a grey and black tracker and that has a C.C sticker on the windshield.
I was in a war eagle and from what I saw I was the only war eagle so you all probably saw me catching 6 keepers all morning also
Fished Britton Ford Sat. morning and Swamp Creek in the afternoon. Caught 11 keepers all day. Gray War Eagle long lining pink and chartreuse curly tails. Hope the weather settles down next week.
