Lake Waccamaw

Hey friends, been away for awhile. GOD delivered me from not one but two life taking diseases. May I praise HIS name? We moved to Goldsboro, NC on January 5th. There are some great Crappie fishing spots here. Having fished Kerr Lake for years I long for the lake fishing. My pastor and I plan a trip to Lake Waccamaw this Wednesday morning. I have never fished this lake although I have been around it some since my high school days. I looked up the State Park boat ramp on Canal Rd. Are there others and can anyone point us in the general direction of where might be a good starting place. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, GKC
