Ive had my new Terrove about a month now. Last weekend while trolling slow I bumped the blade on a limb under the water. It started vibrating bad!!! I lifted it out of water and ran it. It seemed smooth. It quit vibrating. Done the same thing today. This time it took about 10 minutes to get it to settle back down. No warped shaft. Any ideas?
Is the shear pin bent? If so that will cause the vibration.
I will check that. The part that I don't understand is, the vibration goes away after I lift it out of water a couple times and reset it n water.
It could be doing it only while under load from water resistance.
Mine did the same way.Run it a few seconds,turn off,back on a few seconds,always went away.After a few cycles this way fine shape.
That's how I get it to stop. I've check pin and shaft there straight. Only thing I can find is some play n shaft in and out. No up and down.
