Just my luck
Was going to get the boat out today, it was 34 when I got up so decided to wait a bit. i got everything ready and at the last minute my 8 year olds plans fell through so I have to stay here till her mom gets back which isnt a big deal. ( she didnt want to go fishing with me ) now on top of all that I am starting to get cold sweats and cant stay away from the bathroom !!! Great !! Everyone else in the house has already had this and I thought I might have lucked out and not got it, my only day to fish in the last 2 weeks,,,, never fails !!!

Its always something when you try to take time out to fish. Guess it makes the times you get to go that much better.

Man, I feel your pain. My day to fish is Friday, and it has rained or snowed here every Friday for the last three months. Finally, last weekend was forecasted to be nice, and my wife says, "lets go to Branson for the weekend!" :banghead Come on retirement........

Remember the skit on Hee Haw where they sang Pain and Misery for Me? This thread reminds me of that. I haven't been on a serious fishing trip since last October. I got my boat out of the woods and cleaned her up. Pulling to the lake (after work) on Wednsday. Forecast is 80% chance of rain on Thursday. Temps are predicted to fall 10 to 15 degrees Thursday and Friday. "Oh Whoaaaaa is me!!" DP

Well thankfully I felt much better by Monday morning and like clock work we had a cold front and almost 2 inches of rain. On the plus side the rain is supposed to stop by saturday !! Lol !!! By then the water should be just about over the dams and clear as coffee !!! Ruby sparing agony on me,, deep dark depression excessive misery ohh !! Lol Drpepper
