Big crappie

We had a little weeknight bass tournament Thursday night the 2nd at Lone Star. Fishing for bass was tough but we had a monster crappie caught. Wasn't overly thick, which lead us to believe it may have been a very large male. He caught it on a jerkbait, 18" long and 2lbs 10ozs, I believe he released it after he showed it to everyone too.

Nice big crappie, and my Illinois friend told me Kansas has small crappie.

Excellent fish. Kansas might be like Michigan. Some bigguns just harder to find, eh.

If I lived closer guess were I would be going.... Very nice!
