We're heading out for our annual fishing trip to blood river April 8 to the 11. I was just looking for any info of fishing conditions. And water temp if anyone's knows. Thanks

I would guess everything is going to be muddy after the all the rain from last night and today. Chance of rain almost every day next week. Check the website Hancock Biological station for current lake temps. From the people I've talked to fishing has been slow for this time of the year. If we get some stable weather and water I would think the fishing should be improving over the next couple weeks.
First of all: Welcome to the forum! Sure hope you'll become a contributor to the group, and help all the folks coming over your way to fish! Surface water temp this morning at 6:00 a.m. CDT was 58.3. The fishing on Blood has been tough, but with rising water and warmer temperatures, results should get better. Be patient and enjoy your visit!
Fishing on blood was tough for me also but did catch a few nice fish water temps was 59 gonna get better every day so you will be fine just let it rip.
Thanks for the info. Now they decided to stay at cypress creek instead
