Falls Lake 3//28&29/15

Real quick about the 28th. I went out in the afternoon in the wind and it was suicide! First it gusted out of the west then out of the east then back out of the west again. I then went into a north/south cove and it was blowing down the cove too! Just one of those days to stay home and drink beer. I did end up with one fish at least.

On to yesterday. I went out at 3 and fished until Dark. The wind was more forgiving and I was able to find most of my fish in the 8-13' range. Like I mentioned in the other post, the biggest fish was caught on accident hightailing it from one side of the creek to the other. So that tells me the fish were rather high in the water column. If I had longer I might of switched to long lining over the channel. I kept 10 for dinner tonight. The males are getting dark. I'd say hit the shore this week.

Jigs only. Best color was brown/orange/chartruce.
