I am searching for some information to do a statistics math project that interests me.
I am looking for what you feel is your daily average number of keeper sized crappie you catch. No need for lakes, baits or color just a number.
Thanks
Tom

I wish I could help you! Last year I only went out about 4 times and only kept about 25 total! Perhaps I can find a fishing partner this year, my old one passed on last May, we only fished together for 45 yrs!
Catch or Keep? The size limit on Wappapello is 9 inches but I rarely keep anything unless it's over 10
Just a ballpark daily average of the keepers you catch daily. Days on the water have no impact on this project.
When Walleye fishing 2.16 (72 trips 156 keepers) per trip. When Crappie Fishing 8.4 keepers per trip (126 keepers in 15 crappie only trips. We only consider 10+ inches to be a keeper.
Would figure my average is 7.
Last 5 trips all species. Zip.. Nodda One. That may not help your study....
But Then my daily limit is ONE. :dono
last year my average was about 5 keepers per trip. only crappie fished 4 tims. 2 skunks and 2, 10 fish trips. what a depressing thread! :banghead:cheers2
My last five or six trips would average out to about 65-70 keepers in the boat each trip. A couple days just me on the boat and a couple trips with two or three of us in the boat. As much as I would like it to those numbers won't last through out the season.
Keep them coming please. I need 30 averages to plug into an excel spreadsheet and then use mega stat to figure the 90th 95th and 99th percentile. Other than the raw data I can come up with some words to fill a power point.
