Shad in Henderson

Trying to get some catfish bait with cast net. Anyone have any suggestion on where's a good spot to get shad in Henderson ?

don't have a clue.....

I know that some of the Commercial guys get shad from the spilway

They used to dip for shad at the weir between Henderson and Catahoula.

I've seen tons of shad on my fish finder in bigeaux on both sides, north and south of the interstate pilings.
