Cleaning aluminum boats
I know this topic has been visited in the past, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a, good product or technique that does a good job with cleaning aluminum boats. I've used a couple of things but they both seem to leave a ashy white residue or appearance. I was looking for something to remove that brown lake scum ring and also revitalize the shine. Can anybody help me out?

Alumibright from napa. Cut it 50/50 with water. Go to car wash. Rinse boat. Spray on acid. Rinse it off. Brand new boat.
-
Dawn and a plastic kitchen scrubby. My trailer is in the way to get it all.

Put 2 cups each of purple power and bleach in your garden sprayer. Spray it down and let it sit for 30 minutes, then hit it with the pressure washer.

Or do like WB. Get her up to bout 70 mph for a few minutes and it'll skin the scum right off. lol Seriously, all the above will do a good job and I've tried most of them. It's a never ending battle.

I have used Capt Chomp Marine Products Hull Cleaner

I like aluminuma bright. cut it 50/50 with water then wet the boat. Spray a small section while it's wet then hose it off. When you see white streaks your waiti to long to spray it off. Had a tracker for ever that I kept shining all the time.

Hand wax it the boat with Mothers Aluminum wheel polish. Mirror shine.
