I am having trouble understanding my graph. I have some structure sunk in some lakes now but not sure how to exactly pinpoint where to drop my marker bouy. Whenever I run over it and it immediately is beginning to show on the far right side of my graph does this mean it is directly under my transducer? or since its showing up on the right side of my graph its on the right side of my boat? just having trouble knowing when and where to drop my marker.
Send me the waypoints and I'll take a look and interpret them for you :)
I would think its just entering the cone angle at that point and then by the time you see the whole screen its just behind the boat....dunno, maybe someone will chime in here
you less than 10 ft. ? you should be on it .the deeper you go it will be a little forward . :juggle
I read somewhere that if you take two markers and when you first see the structure you throw out a marker then turn around and go over it from the other direction then when you see it, throw the other one out that the structure would be between the two markers.
On the right side of your screen it is just coming into the cone. Toss your marker right at the stern of the boat and it should go down just about in the middle of it.
Right to left it will paint a picture of the structure as you pass over it. Once you fish a spot before retrieving your marker, pass over it couple of times. That way you can learn how it looks and will let you start learning how to interpret what your seeing on the screen. Before long you will be finding stuff you did not put out and have a pretty good idea what is down there.
