Monday Funday...

Starting to take some unexpected time off. If I don't now, I might not have a chance for a while. Wind blew like a politician and fish hit like looters in Ferguson.

Ran into Brian way back in the second cove I tried to hide from the wind.

First cove fished 8-12 fow and 4-8' down, left with five.

Second cove fished 9-3 fow and 1-7' down, left with a total of 11 crappie and two nice blues.

Lost one nice fish, didn't get a good eye on it to make out if it was a big white or healthy hybrid.

I'm using jigs with minnows. Silver/char.

Water temp when I got to the first cove was 47 and 55 when I left, water was 60 in the second cove. My guess is by the weekend you'd be hard pressed to find water at 40.
