IT"s TIME TO VENT
I've been battling depth finders HUmming bird for 10 year. From the time I bought my first to the one I own now it amazes me for the money you have to spend on these thing. Many companies in the USA sell a product, throw it out there and more or less YOU learn how to use it. While your taking you 2 years trying to learn, get advice from others, other problems popping up and boom your out of warrenty. The Cell phone industry(Verizon) went thru the same thing but even of late they woke up. Now you can schedule a FREE class, go in and set down for hands on help and training, come back when you like if you need a refresher and guess what. Sales jumped 29%. You ask around for someone to recommend to take you out for a day on the lake to learn and I'm willing to pay a good sum to learn and next thing you know you get a call he can't come he's working for one of the big 3 now mapping lakes. so go figure.
