I'm new to crappie.com and was wandering if anyone on here fishes Barthlomeuw in Sterlington for white perch?
Hey Stan13....:welcome to the Louisiana CDC forum....I don't fish there but some of the guys do so I know someone will jump in for you.....looking forward to your posts....you will find out that south Louisiana calls them sac-a-lait.......I am originally from Mississippi and we called them white perch there....

I haven't fished there in years. When I did fish it I was more of a bass fisherman then. However, I did catch a few crappie from time to time by fishing the edge of the channel in a few places that had some hidden wood on them. Also caught a few crappie fishing under the bridge at night using a lantern. I also would take my daughters to fish for bream. There used to be a lot of big bream in Bartholomew and they were a lot fun to catch on a popping bug and fly rod. I'm sorry that I could not be of more help. I do know there is a good concrete ramp around on the end of the lake. A lot of people don't know about it. Good luck!
