do you run one or two jigs per rod ?
I run one
You can run 2, folks do it both ways
If you can run two it's a numbers game. Sometimes in shallower water you can only get away with one.
WHEN RUNNING TWO DO YOU USE A HEAVIER JIG ON BOTTON ? SAY A 1/32 OVER A 1/16 ? I know depth and speed will dictate total weight YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH JUST WONDERING IF THEY WILL PLLL BETTER IF NOT THE SAME SIZE .
When I pull doubles I put the light head on the end of the line. It will stay above the heavy head and make for less tangles.
I usually only have one jig on, but I have seen a friend (currently a guide) down on Weiss Lake pull two 1/24oz Jiffy Jigs and do just fine.
Overall, it probably is a "numbers" game .... putting more choices out there for the fish to see vs having twice as many hooks out there that can potentially snag up. :twocents

We are only allowed (by law) to fish either two rods with one hook, or one rod with two hooks, per fisherman. Which is why I tend to pull the two rods to increase the spread.
