Man that's a hog! Congrats on the catch.
Thanks LFN. I wasn't told til the next day there's a number you can call to get a fish weighed if the marina is closed. Would've loved to have known what she weighed before goin on ice for several hours. Heard they lose 10-20 percent of weight on ice after a few hours...anyone else heard of this?
That's amazing! Good job!
Wow! My oh My!
Yes they loose weight mine was 3.31 but I didn't want to go through all the hassle to enter it last year.
Great catch,, that's a monster, as big as the fish are at the point I'll be lucky to stay in the top ten.lol .you can have a fish weighed on any FDA certified scale..seafood markets, grocery stores usual have certified scales , then there is a form you can download from wildlife and fisheries to submit , then ya need a biologist to identify the fish. That's why many fish aren't entered..there is no doubt if all the 3 lb plus fish caught were entered, it would probably take 31/2 or bigger just to qualify...I was just glad to break into the 3 lb club..ya have to love a place like pp...
Thanks guys, I guess I'm gonna put her on the wall. I've caught several 3's but none as big as her. And yes, pp in March is def the place to be. It's crazy how that lake grows em so big. Think I may load up and head that way around lunch. Gon be a little chilly but oh well.
