thomas hill
Going to try to go out on monday. We're trying to decide whether to go to Thomas Hill or LOZ. Does anyone have any info they'd be willing to share about Thomas Hill? We've never been there and I was wondering which ramp or ramps might be preferable, is it a shallow water lake that I need to use extra caution running, or anything else that may be useful. Thanks.

Definitely going to find bigger fish at LOZ. If you don't want to take a lot of gravel on Thomas Hill to find a ramp I would put in at Hwy T west of College Mound. There are some shallow water areas but for the most part the are marked with buoys. Your pretty much going to have to fish brush piles on Thomas Hill. Water temps will be in the 60's at least.

What are the length and creel limits for thomas hill?

Gravel isn't a problem if there is a better area to launch at. A little dust or mud just adds character to the rig.

no length and Im pretty sure its 15. What direction are you coming from?

We'd be coming out of union down hey 50 then heading north.

Sorry that was suppose to say highway 50. Dang autocorrect

Best bet is probably the warm water arm ramp off of Hwy F

Thanks for the info. I'll talk to my buddy and let you know where we went and how we did.

Ended up going to loz. Mainly because another crappie.com guy was already there and was going to be there still today. Got to meet a member on the water today for the first time and exchange a little info. He had current info and I shared some of my spots that work well a little later on the year. Got a lot of shorts and a couple keepers. Overall a good day. Maybe next time we'll get on them better.
