The Big "G" has a lot to offer!

Being new to the forum, I wanted to post some pictures of my journey so far. Grew up fishing Guntersville and now my parents live on the lake so I'm very fortunate to be able to fish one of the best lakes in America often. My father and I have always loved crappie fishing but have been really hitting it hard the last three years and have been pretty successful. I would love for everybody to share some pics of their fish on this thread. Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and post a few pics of some of my better days on guntersville! If you are looking for that elusive 3lber, you would be hard pressed to find a better Lake than The Big "G" imo.

Haha Yea those Reds may have come from somewhere a little saltier than Guntersville, and the giant Rainbow may have been caught by my dad in NW Arkansas. But they're part of the "journey" so I included them. :biggrin

Great pics. A little of subject but I love red fishing if you ever get the chance go to Vinci and go out with Brandon carter of ""reel shot"" best trip I ever been on.

HMMM Those Red fish must have come from a strange part of the Big G that looks a lot like Destin Harbor and east pass bridge (GRIN)Good thing I live as far from the big gulf pond as i do!

That smallmouth looks like it was caught on the rock walls outside Whitaker, close to the bat cave. Am I right? I caught a 5 pounder on the inside of Goat Island about 30 years ago. The only smallmouth I've ever caught at Guntersville. Unbelievable experience.

seeing them reds mixed in reminds me of when someone threw a dead shark out on a boat ramp in guntersville.made the local news lol

He caught them reds in south saulty on live crabs.

Great looking fish. The big G is a great lake.
