Pomona Bite?

I am in the process of getting a new boat rigged so I have not been able to wet a line lately. I heard a couple VERY reliable reports from Pomona last week that they fared very well -- still on the channel breaks ---early to mid last week. They say the size has been pretty good, but fish were very isolated, some boats couldn't find em. Both said they can detect the spring urge in the fish, so the bite will probably taper quickly.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Very similar reports from Clinton and Perry.......
