Boat control
I built this aft TM conglomeration last year so to immediately back up when Brenda and I get hung up while floating jigs and minners and slow trolling. If we get hung up (always), I just turn the rear motor on. It serves as a reverse thruster. I can also turn the motor on contentious and control speed in not so friendly winds.
RCC just built him one. I ain't hear from him about it yet.
The problem I had was reaching over the rail to raise and lower the TM. So, I made a winch to lift the motor via cable.
I cut all medal work with my dremel. Takes time, works fine. Most all the stuff I used in this project was from scraps, used parts and donations from some fine fellers here on c.com. The TM is a refurb MK Endura I bought from Cabelas several years ago for my Crawdad. Yes, I can remotely steer it if need be.
