Grenada this weekend
Need some help. I'm here for the first time this weekend and I cannot seem to find the fish. We covered a lot of ground from perry creek and up the Skuna. Only caught 1 fish yesterday and nothing today. Today is my last day fishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks agsin.

I don't know if this will be a help or not because I am in the central part of Mississippi. Yesterday the crappie were in 5' to 6' water and we were fishing 31/2' to 4' down from surface. Hope this helps until someone around Grenada chimes in with more help. Best of luck.

With 3 tourneys this and the next two weekends, info will be at a standstill. The Crappie Masters MS State Championship will be there weekend after next. The Magnolia Crappie Club's Big Mama Open is next weekend there.

Thanks for the replies. Caught one keeper crappie on Saturday and a catfish on Sunday. We covered a lot of water, just couldn't locate the fish. I didn't even get many to show up on my graph. We'll definitely be back next year though.

Most of the fish i have caught have been in a little over knee deep water.

I have not fished there this year so not sure about water levels or if fish have moved shallow there yet. In past years we have put in at Grey Sport Landing this time of the year went under the bridge to the eastside and slow trolled. If you look at Google Earth map you will see an old road bed. We have caught some nice fish trolling along old road bed and in the area east of bridge. This may not work right now because I have no clue what the water level is. Water range was 3' to 7' FOW (depending on lake level) usual caught fish at 1.5 to 2.5' deep. This has been past years in the spring not this year so may not help you but it is worth checking out. Maybe others that have fished there this year will chime in. Good luck!
