Went half day fishing today. 10 crappie and 7 perch most were small but two good ones. One is citation by length. They are still holding eggs and fat. Crappie was small to average (6-9 in.) River was a lil muddy. Water temps were 44. Last Saturday it was 32. Rained the whole time so left early.
Thanks for the report. I thought about going this afternoon but it poured down. Good to hear the water temps are up, but the river is pretty stained all the way up. I might wait a couple days. The canoe is on the truck, 2 dozen minnows, and worms. I'm gonna have to do something with them tomorrow. Thinking about a trip to Holiday lake. Harrison Lake is calling too.
I should be at Holiday tomorrow. Say hi if you see 2 old ugly guys in a gray Dura craft with a jet drive on it.
I'm planning on heading that way. I'll be paddling and ducking the wind.

Yes. Down river a few miles down. Right off then end of a long dock. Longest one you see on the way down.channel is right there.
