Fished mostly on Big Allison this morning. Tried minnows at several spots for perch. No luck & nothing showing of depth finder. Trolled for crappie for a while with the same luck but did catch 3 small perch on minnows. Rode from the landing on Big Allison all the way down to the main lake. Nothing showing anywhere on the depth finder.

I wanted to go this morning, but it didn't work out, at least you got to go.

That's sounds like a tough day on the pond, the fish have to win every once in awhile or there won't be any left before to long.

Thanks for posting the report.
-
Seen days like cant find any bait or fish. Makes you scratch your head.

Oh well....those that don't go, don't know.......unless you tell us[emoji6] thanks for the report. I had the same outcome last week at Murray.

good to see you and talk a little this morning Charles sorry to hear they hid from you == we found a few about lunch time but the wind was so strong we couldn't stay on um == hit anchor lock on t/m and went backwards skipping bait across top of water then threw out chain anchor and it didn't hold ether so we packed up and went and helped Searay eat his smoked salmon :biggrin hope conditions improve for Friday I can take a little rain but it hard to fish in HUGO weather

Sounds like some tough fishing but atleast you got out and enjoyed the great outdoors. You'll have plenty of good fish-catching days....just stay after 'em.:)

My buddy Marion that was with me is new to year around crappie fishing. He never heard of a crappie being more than about 5 ft deep. Musta called 10 of his buddies Weds night saying "You ain't gonna believe how deep we were fishing for crappie!!"
Remus and Big Dawg had found them in 50 FOW right on the bottom. I could not see them on the DF so they were laying right on the bottom and hitting minnows fished right at the bottom
