Looking for a good 3 or 4 bank onboard charger. I don't want to spend a bunch on it. Let me know what you got.
Also dose anyone know of anywhere that fixes chargers? I have a 3 bank that one bank isn't charging but 2 work fine.

I had the Bass Pro XPS for three years. It was the 5/5/5/ amp three bay. YOu can aget it new for around $150 or so. It was a good charger but i got a good deal on the new MInn Kota 460PC 15/15/15/15 amp 4 bay charger from someone on this website. I changed it out this weekend and i have already sold the XPS. THE XPS works good,,, had no issue with it but i needed more power and a 4 bay unit. If you longline troll for more than two days the 15 AMP was not enough for me and i would have to go out 75% charged by day three. My advice is spend a little extra money and get a good one with at least 10 amps per bay. YOu will get your money back in the long run as the new ones do a really good job taking care of your batteries. Minn Kota has a good rebate going on now
I also have a 5/5/5, mine is a pro mite I believe. Good service since '09 and I seldom fish full days back to back so the smaller amps are fine for me. The 10/10/10 will replace this if it ever goes. Never heard of anyone doing repairs on these units other than factory and they just replace.
Dual-Pro is the only onboard charger that is repairable that I know of. And a few older high end MinnKotas. All the newer chargers are encased in epoxy after they are tested and installed in the cases making them impossible to repair. Best just get another one or get a new single and hook it to the cranking battery.
I did a lot of research and found a company called Genius who make multiple bank charges at the best prices on Ebay,, checkem out!
here's a 3 bank for $258 and its a 30 amp charger 10 amps per battery....
Hello: I would contact the manufacturer and see if it is repairable. Good Luck O - R
