ANY REPORTS FROM LARTO? HOPE THEY DON'T GET TOO MUCH RAIN THIS WEEK....TEMPS LOOK REALLY GOOD...ROG, BOUT READY!!!

Slip-cork, i also hope the rain don't mess em up! plan on going down there next week! if it keeps raining, may have to cancel! really love fishing there!

Took a ride through Dewey Wills WMA Saturday on muddy bayou road. First, saw high water in Big Creek just before turn to go to Woodson's landing. Went down muddy bayou road in WMA, lot of water in the woods. Fished @ culverts on muddy bayou, caught a couple of small bass. Water was going through culverts towards lake. Water also high there. Went to small boat launch @ northwest corner of waterfowl impoundment that goes into lake. Water in lake was high, same conditions @ public boat launch @ saline bayou. The new weir must be working pretty good now. Want to go fishing there soon.

Looks like rain through Thursday then very nice for several days. Drove down to Larto on Saturday and only saw 3-4 boats on the lake. All the surrounding areas in the fields are saturated. Came back up the diversion canal levee and water looked to be pouring over the weir into the canal. Looked to be 2-3 feet higher than canal side so plenty more water to come out. Hope it dosen't take the fish out with the water. Good luck on your fishing. ~~<*{{{{<<
